Mothers complain that their children are easily distracted. They ask them to do a simple thing then come back with another thing or they just forget what they have been asked for.

  • Choose a story or a book for your child according to his/ her age and let him read paragraphs by counting the words of the first paragraph and then the second paragraph until he knows the words of the whole page, repeat that several times.
  •  Let him/her count from 1to 100.
  • Let him/her choose a sentence or a song and say it in his/her mind for 5 minutes and then to say it and repeat it a couple of times.

  • Let him/her focus on a certain point like a glass of water in front of him/her for a minute.
  • Go out with him/her to the park and ask to describe what he/she sees, hears and smells, ask him/her to use his/her different senses for Description.
  • Let him/her focus on the clock moving for a minute and counting the seconds.
