Technology at Oxford Schools is top priority for the future of our children. therefore, the school investment in technology has been and will always be a top priority as it gives our students the required tools of their future.
Oxford schools provides interactive white board distributed in classrooms from KG to Grade 12 as a way enhance the school learning curve. We also provide our teachers accessibility to technology resources that they incorporate into their daily lesson plans, including but not limited to PowerPoint presentations, educational DVDs, e-games and other interactive technology.

Computer Labs
As the world is witnessing a rapid developments in using technology and employing it in our practical life, and as a way to stress the importance of building a generation capable of dealing with the technological development, our school provides to its students Computer as a subject from grade one to grade twelve , in which they come across various significant programs. Our computers labs are up-to-date with the latest technology of H/W and S/W.
Oxford Computer labs include:
- The Boys' School Lab
- The Girls' School Lab
- The Primary and Kindergarten Schools' Lab
- The International Primary (1-6) Computer Lab
- The International Secondary (7-12) Computer Lab
Surveillance system
Applying the annual plan related to Camera System that started from 2012.Each year we select a certain Section to install cameras. Now each section (Classes, Corridors, and playing grounds) under Surveillance.
- Prevent illegal activities
- Ensure security management at School
- Emergency Evacuation
- Monitor teaching process
- Monitor students’ behavior
Smart Boards
Applying the annual plan related to Smart Boards that started from 2012.Each year we select certain classes to install smart boards. Now we have smart boards in:
- KG Section we have 5 Smart Boards
- Elementary Section (1-6) we have All Grades Smart Board 24
- Girls and Boys Section, we have 1
- Special Needs Section we have 2
- International Section
- Primary: we have Smart Boards in all grades( 15)
- Secondary we have 3 Smart Boards
NWEA Map Exam
We run a highly-advanced E-exam engine that creates and corrects students’ exams. Our E-exam program is an excellent tool for teachers and Administration to follow up on the academic performance of our students.
The Exam provides convenience, speed and accuracy for our teachers to measure and analyze areas of strength and weakness in the required skills, allowing for early detection and remedial action.
In addition, the engine facilitates access to more practice questions for students, thus giving teachers more time to focus on other aspects of lesson plans.
Servers
We have in the school 9 servers and 2 VPS out of the school
Firewall Appliance (UTM)
Unified threat management (UTM) or unified security management (USM), is a solution in the network security industry, and since 2004 it has become established as a primary network gateway defense solution for organizations. In theory, UTM is the evolution of the traditional firewall into an all-inclusive security product able to perform multiple security functions within one single system: network firewalling, network intrusion detection/prevention (IDS/IPS), gateway antivirus (AV), gateway anti-spam, VPN, content filtering, load balancing, data loss prevention, and on-appliance reporting.
- Web filtering
- Creating Vlans
- Using NAT (Network Address Translation)
- Block Devices
- Restrict some sites
Solar System
Our school has taken upon itself to help solve the current energy crisis through the use of renewable energy, as well as to help ensure the continued sustainability of the environment.
Our school has decided to use the solar energy to generate electricity. The use of solar energy will allow us to bring down electricity costs, along with decreasing our carbon emissions.
Internet Connection (Microwave)
Previously in our schools, we used to have seven Internet lines divided between sections.
In doing suitable studying for this case, we replaced seven lines by one line (10 mbps) for the whole school to serve with all of its sections.
After this update
- We have one internet connection line for monitoring and management.
- Easier maintenance.
- Unlimited Download
- Lower cost
- Static IPs for the school
UPS Legrand/INFORM DSP Multipower DSPMP-1106
A UPS isn’t just for IT infrastructures and should be part of your desktop PC and home network protection strategy—especially if you have a home media server. In a power outage, it provides emergency power via battery, allows you to safely save your data, and power down your machine properly.
- In a power outage, it provides emergency power via battery
- If power still disconnect, the smart UPS Shutdown the server automatically (Smart Shutdown)
Alexa
This is a ranking system set by alexa.com (a subsidiary of amazon.com) that basically audits and makes public the frequency of visits on various Websites. The algorithm according to which Alexa traffic ranking is calculated, is simple.
This traffic is based on such parameters as reach and page views. The reach refers to the number of Alexa users who visit a particular site in one day. Page view, as its name shows, is the number of times a particular page (URL) is viewed by Alexa users. Alexa.com makes it clear though that, if a particular user visits the same URL multiple times on the same day, all those visits will be counted as one.
School Website and Portal
As the result of the huge development that the technology world is witnessing, where information are available on the internet, we started to improve our website with a special online Web portal where teachers , parents, and students interact with each other.
Access Points
Upgrade technology infrastructure to provide wireless Internet access across the whole school campus
Robotics ( STEM Science Technology Engineering Math)
As technology has progressed, the accessibility of robotics to the layperson has also improved. Twenty years ago, robotics kits for kids were limited to simple structures and motors. Now they are sophisticated enough to employ a multitude of sensors and motors as well as interface with a laptops computer to allow for robust programming experiences, all at a cost that makes them accessible to the classroom.
Raz-Kids
Raz-Kids is an award-winning teaching product that provides comprehensive leveled reading resources for students. With hundreds of eBooks offered at 29 different levels of reading difficulty, it's easy to put the right content in every student's hands.
Kids access their leveled text through an interactive learning portal designed to keep them motivated and engaged. Every eBook is available in online and mobile formats, and allows students to listen to, read at their own pace, and record themselves reading.
Students then take a corresponding eQuiz complete with an extended answer response to test comprehension and determine future instruction needs. Once a child has read ten or more of the leveled eBooks and passed each of the corresponding eQuizzes, they advance on to the next reading level where they have access to lengthier and more difficult text.
School Management System (SMS)
The automated school administration system keeps a record of all activity pertaining to student enrollment, schedules, curricula, activities, certificates, allocation of periods for teachers and other relevant data.
The system produces instant reports, which expedites transactions between parents and the school and provides management with accurate information and the tools necessary for decision-making. Student files are maintained from the time of enrollment until graduation.
These files include personal, medical and academic information, annual school certificates, analysis, attendance, and activities. This data is retained by the school and remains at parents’ disposal years after their children graduate.
Fingerprint machines
Fingerprint attendance machines have been installed and are used by our staff, provides a more efficient means of tracking attendance.
Antivirus
A solid antivirus system also scans all files, e-mails and accessed websites
